Physicists
The medical physicist is a health-care professional who has received special education in the equipment and techniques required to use radiation to treat cancer, including training on CyberKnife. The medical physicist will collaborate with your radiation oncologist to determine the appropriate dose of radiation and location. The medical physicist also will monitor the equipment and procedures to ensure you safely receive the appropriate radiation dose in the correct location.
