Neurosurgeons

A neurosurgeon is a physician who has received additional training in surgery and, in particular, surgery of the nervous system. A neurosurgeon operates on the brain, spinal cord and other parts of the central nervous system. As part of the Swedish Neuroscience Institute, the board-certified neurosurgeons at Swedish Medical Center benefit from the close proximity to the institute's leading-edge research and clinical trials, and the breadth of treatment options.
