About Seattle CyberKnife Center
Seattle CyberKnife Center, located at Swedish Medical Center's Cherry Hill campus , offers one-of-a-kind technology that sounds like surgery - but isn't. Although its name suggests scalpels, operating rooms and recovery time, CyberKnife treatment involves no cutting, no pain and no hospital stay.
CyberKnife is the world's first and only robotic radiosurgery system. The center's experts use CyberKnife to send high-dose radiation beams to treat small or complex, cancerous and noncancerous tumors of the brain, breast, head & neck, kidney, liver, lung, pancreas, pelvis, prostate, spine, and other parts of the body .
Because we are part of the Swedish Cancer Institute, our patients have access to the full scope of services and support available at our nationally recognized cancer-care center.
Call us at 206-320-7130 if you want help finding a CyberKnife-certified physician, or to schedule an appointment for a consultation.
About Swedish Cancer Institute
We care for people - we treat cancer
A commitment to fight cancer takes innovation, tenacity and an unwillingness to accept the status quo. Beginning in 1932 and continuing now for nearly eight decades, the men and women of the Swedish Cancer Institute have been relentless pioneers in developing and acquiring the latest cancer-fighting technologies and therapies.
As the oldest and largest cancer-care center in the Pacific Northwest and one of the foremost cancer research centers in the western states, the institute has earned a national and international reputation for its progressive, personalized approach to cancer treatment. Our experts care for people with compassion, respect and understanding while aggressively treating their cancer with the most advanced equipment and techniques - that's the tradition of cancer care at the Swedish Cancer Institute.
Our integrated, multidisciplinary team includes surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, researchers, nurses, technologists and support staff. We don't stop there, however. Our team also includes many health-care professionals with expertise in clinical programs and complementary cancer therapies, patient education and counseling. This breadth of knowledge allows us to provide customized treatment plans to people who are living with cancer.
No matter how many team members we may have, however, the patient - and his or her family - is always at the center of the team because we care for people - we treat their cancer.
